Odd Dreams and Peeps
So I awoke this morning at 5:55 am from a very odd dream about someone who I had thought I had forgotten about....it was one of my old best friends....you know how in elementary school you have your "best friend" who is in your class and then either they move, you change schools, or they get to repeat the grade and things change. Well, I had a dream about Emily Nelson, one of my old best friends from third and fourth grade, she had an older brother, and her little brother's name was Leif...I don't remember why I remembered his name and not her older brother's name, but I'm odd...so anyways I had a very disturbing dream to the point that I couldn't go back to sleep and what was odder than that when I finally got to see and talk with Emily, she was talking so softly that I couldn't hear or understand her at all...until the end when she said something (which I don't remember now) But it was weird...
So anyways, my thought is more about why we forget people. Is it because we have outgrown that person or stage it our life? Could it be because we have gotten everything from that friendship that is possible? Am I too cynical that I actually thought that...but I just wonder sometimes...do we get too wrapped up in our own boring life that we don't think about the others that we have effected...I don't know...but I have decided that I will try and become better and stay in touch with old friends. So if any of you know Emily Nelson who lived in Klein, Texas, tell her I said "HI!!!"
On to another topic...PEEPS!!! You all know what a Peep is...it is the best candy...a marshmallow that is covered in colored SUGAR...it's great...I usually am only allowed to eat one a day...but today...I've had 5!!!! I know...it's gross, but I enjoy it...so yeah for peeps!!! Oh... and I'm not sleeping or eating for the next 5 days....crazy...I know!!

Easter Style
Well, I have decided to drop out of school and become a stylist...for men!!! I could so do it too...I dressed...well not really...but I dressed my little brother and my dad for Easter. Don't they look sharp!!! If only I could really do that...too bad I can't dress myself...I spent all afternoon Friday and all day Saturday looking for a specific dress for me for Easter...and I didn't find it...so maybe with this change in career I will find some designer that will make me my clothes...hehehe...yeah right...well..back to accounting...bye!!!

Okay...I don't know if I spelled that right...but it's there now!!! So okay, the rest of my week from Spring Break went down like this...
Wednesday: Okay, so Wednesday I sent the majority of the day waiting for my windshield to be replaced, it wouldn't have taken them so long, but after going to the wrong joint...anyways...I went to church later that night, and then went home to read. :) I know a dork!!
Thursday: THIS WAS THE DAY!!! Today we went to the rodeo!!! We went early, which was awesome!!! As we were getting our first drinks of the day, we were walking towards the livestock part of the rodeo to see this HOT MAN walking towards us...I leaned over to Lacy to ask if she knew who it was because he seemed VERY familiar to me...then we noticed that he had some security guy following him....that was when we noticed this one girl and her mom go running towards him....and we scream out in a quiet whisper when we realized it was TROY Gentry...but because he was on the phone Lacy wouldn't let me go take a picture with him...:) So then we walked around, finally met up with the boys (Brian, Matt, Mike, and Mitchell), went to our seats, screamed at the cowboys, and sang every song!!! It was great! And then Dawn, Lacy, Brian, and myself went dancing at the
DOME!!! Holy cow...that was the best!!! The band playing that night, was okay, but I just learned that they are from Nac..hum, so anyways..we didn't get home until 2am.
Friday: After Lacy left the next morning we got a phone call from her telling us that a
house had burned down at the front of the neighborhood...it was crazy!! Dawn and I hung out/sleeping until 2, then she left and my little brother's "cool" friends came over and they watched a movie. Then at 10 and played poker over at Danielle's house with Dawn, Lacy, Mike, Brian, Matt, and Jonathan. And then Melissa and her friend came over...they were too funny, so by 12:30, after being the first one bought out at 10:30, I decided that it was time to leave!
Saturday: I really don't know or remember what happened...so if anyone else does, it would be nice...I think that I was finishing up my book.
Sunday: We went to church and then to the rodeo...it was great fun. For the rodeo part I sat with Lacy and Dawn, and for the concert I went and sat with my folks. And then at 9 I got to drive back to Nac...I finished my book and it was a learning experence...woohoo!!

First 5 days of SB '05
Alright, so I have decided to break the week up in half covering the 10 days. So right now, we shall cover Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday....
Friday night:
My best friend Dawn, received 20 free tickets to the
Laugh Spot. It is a comedy club in Houston with a 2 item minimum purchase (drinks or food...a requirement that I didn't know about until 1 hour before going.) Before going we went to Chile's to eat...mmm...Chile's...A group of 5 of us went and saw 3 okay comedians...the last guy (the head-liner) was some Greek guy that is a writer for MTV...it was fun, and it wasn't a late night...that I remember...:)
Saturday:
I started my day at 10ish, and I fulfilled my original plan of laying out by the pool with
The Da Vinci Code. It's this book that you should read...I really don't know how to fully explain it to you, maybe at different post, but I finished it that week...It was a different experience. Dawn came over later and we laid out till about 3. We went in early because my Dad was just getting home from Singapore and we wanted to be ready in case the folks had plans. So while we waited, we watched 2 movies with Julianne Moore...
the Forgotten and
Laws of Attraction. I thought that they were good...no matter what the critics may say! So anyways, we waited for my Dad to wake up so that we could go to dinner. After learning that he wasn't wanting to go...we (my Mom, Matt, Dawn, and myself) went to Buca De Beppos...a really really good Italian restaurant.
Sunday:I went to church...read...and um...don't really remember what we did...but it had to be fun...:)
Monday:Laid out by the pool, took my car into the Honda Car shop to be fixed, I went to see my Mom and her quilting buddies, and basically did nothing...I think that this was one of the three days that I didn't see Dawn...:) I got my car back and it was great...
Tuesday:
My momma had her painting class that day...so we had lunch at Taco Bell...while there my check engine light came on and so I got to take it back to the repair place. While there I set up an appointment to get my windshield replaced the next day...later Dawn came over with Lacy and we watched the best movie ever...
The Incredibles!!! We ordered tickets for the Rodeo for Thursday night and then we drove to
Freebirds downtown. (The best burritos EVER!!) We also stopped by the Mueller's place (my future residence if I get a job downtown!!)
So that, in short, consisted of my first 5 days of the last Spring Break of my College Career...by Tuesday I was maybe on Chapter 40-something out of 105...I had not thought about homework...tax....or anything relating to school...it was great!!!

Spring Break Rocks!! Part One :)
Okay...so I have been gone an entire week, to ease your brain and your pain I have not really been on the computer in over 8+ days...all due to my
final SPRING BREAK!!! WOOHOO...kind-of sad if you think about it...the next spring break will be if a.)I get to stay one more semester in the wonderfully horrid town or b.) when my kids (....if that ever happens...) are old enough to have a spring break...wow...I'm old.... Okay...well being that I had a long and wonderful week instead of chewing your ear off I have decided to release a little at a time...so in short form this is what I did: I went home, went out with great friends, laid by the pool, read and finished an interesting book, caught up on my Dawson's Creek, and slept. The End :)
Ups and Downs for this week
I know that it's only Tuesday and wrong to be using the term week...but the high amounts of stress and the low amounts of sleep will do that to a person...Not to complain because I know that I'm in Grad School so that means more studing but since Saturday I have been in the library a total of almost 20 hours if not more(that's how much time I send at work in a week!)...(a downer, in case you didn't know) Plus on Sunday, I was lucky enough to be infected with a trojan horse...and I was unable to get online for 2 days...the stress amounted to an all time high because I was working on my Tax take-home test, I had a tax paper due on Thursday that I had not started on (refer to below to read more), and after some time crying on the phone to a great friend, I unplugged my internet cable, finished my take-home test, and laid in the tub and sobbed until midnight when I thought that bed would be good. (So another downer) Today, along with an audit mid-term that I have been in the library for for the past 4 days, both of my bosses were out today, so I got to hold down Payroll for over 11,000 employees for 4 hours ALL BY MYSELF...I was an adult for four whole hours!!! To wait on the stupid "Fine Arts" people to never show up...:) Which made me late to tax class, but that is when I opened my big mouth to find out that the paper that was due in two days has been pushed back TWO WEEKS!!!! No matter what I may have said about Turner before and after this point...I love that man!!! (Upper)Then after my audit mid-term, I found out that my wee-wittle nephew has a heart murmur....and I don't think that it has completely set in because I writing about me and not researching more about him...but my sister says that it's okay and that a lot of babies get this and grow out of it...but I'm a worrier...(so ultra DOWNER) So your prayers would be great for him...and her...and Jonathan. Thanks :)Thursday at 1:45 my Spring Break away from class begins (Upper), but I get to report to work on Friday at 8am, and don't get to go home until at least after noon...(Downer). Tomorrow is my last mid-term in Research!! (Upper), and then I'm going out afterwards (Bigger Upper!)Today is the first day since last Wednesday(don't know if that's good or not) to watch TV...I don't know if you really know me or not...but I have done a cost benefit analysis on my Cable bill...true accountant to the core...and I don't make enough money to justify for my tv to be turned off for the amount of money that I am paying...so when I turned on the tv this evening...I had forgotten EVERYTHING...it was odd...Plus after some conversations with my great man-friends (not your normal run-of-the-mill friends)...Drew, Doug, Daniel, and Charlie...I have redone something to my computer and reset it back to before the horse...but I think that I am going to take it home and get my little brother to look over it..:) (SO HUGE UPPER!!!)So I guess that that's everything to catch you up on my doings here in Nac...hope all is well in your neck of the woods!
