Baby, it’s not cold outside…
One of my many most favorite Christmas songs evah and now I have to changes the words because of this stupid climate outside! What is with this weather? I can’t wait to go to NYC for Christmas…maybe it will feel more like Christmas there! :) I don’t know…Christmas is my most favorite time of the year, but this year has gone by so fast and I’ve been so busy. I’ve only gotten 4 Christmas presents. It’s just sad. So in spite of the weather, I’m going to crank down the A/C, put on some Christmas carols, change my Myspace background and song, and sing loudly, “I really can’t stay, I’ve got to go away….Baby it’s cold outside.”
Merry Christmas!!
Feeling more festive,
Me

“Wow, you look like a Movie Star and this must be the Father of your children!”
Warning: the names and events are actual and the names have not changed for maximum exposure opportunity.
Oh how I love company Christmas parties. Can you just guess how I responded to that?!? “Um, thank you, it’s just a dress…and no Earl (as I smile at Matt knowing that I’m going to have to apologize again for something else), father of my children?? Not that I’m aware of, but if and when that happens, we’ll let you know.” That’s when his wife stepped in and introduced herself. In her eyes you could see the embarrassment/the apology for allowing him to talk. We smiled and I laughingly let them know/Earl know for the millionth time that the cute photo was my nephew and restated again that I/we don’t have any children. Earl’s response, “Well when you do have kids, they’ll have round faces.” “Thanks Earl, I think that they would be cute too, (as I flash another “I’m sorry smile” at Matt)”. FYI, Liquor and co-workers are a very dangerous combination.
Wishing there was another day in the weekend.

P.S. As soon as I get the computer/camera talking again, I'll try to post some photos!

Mmmmm
She’s pulls it out of her purse, happy that soon the chapped feeling will be moisturized. She opens up the top with bated breath. Purses her lips together as she applies the sweet relief only to feel something funny on her lips. She presses harder on the tube when suddenly she remembers her nephew was in town last weekend. She smiles, wipes off the gunk from her lips and the tube, and then reapplies.
Hope you have a gunk free Friday!
Called it.
I so called
it. Not that I’m watching a lot of TV these days…but I
SO called it! :) So are you going to watch it now? Be warned...it has a happy plot, no one is shot down, and it makes me laugh. You may not like it, but tough. :)
Wishing for a cup of hot coco….
