You have got to be kidding me!!

Straight from the headlines: "Couple charged after woman dies during home liposuction surgery." The couple performed a liposuction procedure in the basement of a Framingham home and have been charged with practicing medicine without a license after the female patient died. Seriously people!! Have you never watched a SINGLE CSI?!?!?

7 pounds and 10 inches

You are reading that correctly…in the past 6 weeks I have lost 7 pounds and 10 inches off of my BODY…which is amazing!!!!!! Pants that I bought 6 months ago are finally fitting how they were suppose to be worn….I’m sleeping great….I have energy in the morning, sometimes too much but still not enough to make me happy to be awake!! :) It’s nice. Granted this is just the weight that I gained during busy season…but whatever! A loss is a LOSS!!! :) So to all of you that are doubting what you can do or thinking about exercising or know that you need to but you are too tired…get off your duff and do something! What will it hurt to just try…in the end you may end up loss some weight, enjoying working out, and gaining a hot new friend that also ends up being a very HOT boy!! :)

Happy Friday People!!

Love you and one day myself,
me

P.S. I'm not looking for a pat on the back or anything, but I'll take it if you give it...what I really want is to let you know...and maybe, just maybe inspire you. Night.

Peeling

Everywhere….I am peeling…my arms…my chest….my belly…it’s amazing. This is my first day back in the office…and I am so not productive that it’s absurd. I do believe that it would be better if I just went home. I have applied lotion to my arms now three times in the past 2 ½ hours to get my attention off of my arms and back to my work. I wonder who I can bill for peeling my arms…you see my urgency in peeling is that my sister is coming into town this weekend and if she reads this then she is probably screaming at the computer telling me to stop!!! :) Also, I hope to be outside a lot this weekend to help further my cause in attaining skin cancer before the age of 30! So anyways. My vacation was great. We did so much stuff in 4 days and I have decided that I am going to change my occupation. I want to be a dolphin trainer. But I don’t know where I would get a job…or what they pay….but what I do know is that they get paid to play with dolphins!!! So that was my remarkable vacation in San Antonio. We found a great Italian restaurant that I will go back to, a cute spiral staircase on the River walk that would look great for bridal photos, and we had a wonderful and relaxing time. Hope your vacation can compare to mine…I doubt it, but you can try!

Pretending that my vacation never ended,

Melinda

Quick Update.

So I guess that I should start off with a Happy Belated 4th of July to you all. I hope that everyone had a great holiday with the rain and all!! I had fun, the family went to see the Astro's wop up on the Cubbies and between the 4 of us we had 15 hotdogs (it was dollar dog day)!!! Don't tell my trainer. Then after the game I went up to the Woodlands for their firework display, which was amazing, even with the rain.

Yesterday was my Granny's 29th Birthday for the 47th year in a row. Buunfortunatelyly, she had to put her dog to sleep because she was not doing very well at all. She handled it very well and kept on assuring me that she wasn't attached to the dog like I was...but she was not doing well at all. She needed to go to doggie heaven a LONG time ago.

And on a happier note, we have finally decided were we are going on vacation next week. Due to budgetary constraints, time constraints, and you fill in the blank here constraints, the powers that be decided that we are going to San Antonio for 4 nights!!!! I'm so excited to be getting out of the house and the Houston area!!! We are staying on the Riverwalk and it's going to be fun.

In other fronts, I'm going out with a group of people from work to this thing at the Houston Museum of Natural Science called "Mixer and Elixirs" It's supposed to have a band, cash bar, and a ticket to see an IMAX show. It will be interesting, I guess. I just wonder what type of people go there: old people, lonely people, people not interested in females, you know, interesting people. If nothing else, I'll at least get to hang out with the friends and meet some interesting people and see an IMAX show! So that's my quick update.

Oh, and my 2 cents on the whole Ken Lay thing, I do believe that he should be held responsible for the downfall of Enron, even in his passing. May the Lord have mercy on his soul.

Getting back to work now...me
